Danielle is a self-deprecating and adorably neurotic soul. She was once described by a date as “effusive.” (If you have to look it up, don't worry. She did too.) It’s unclear whether or not this was intended as a compliment, though it is fairly accurate.
She has sat (and cried) on both sides of the proverbial therapy couch. A social worker by training, she has a unique perspective on the human condition, along with abnormally high levels of sensitivity and empathy. Danielle is fiercely outspoken when it comes to injustice, and was very likely an attorney in another life. She is passionate about making genuine connections, helping others, and changing the world. In spite of her fascination with (and love for) people, she is an insufferable introvert with agoraphobic tendencies.
Danielle uses humor and creative expression to cope with the sh*tshow that is life and is dedicated to transforming her own struggles and heartache into something that will help other people feel less alone.
She is a fan of the Oxford comma, run-on sentences, hyperbole, and ending stories abruptly without a proper conclusion.
In addition to her affinity for potty humor and bathroom photography, Danielle also has a childish obsession with graphic t-shirts. The one she’s wearing in this photo says “All I care about is pasta and like 3 people.” It was $5 and she thinks it’s hilarious. She has also recently discovered Snapchat and, after relentlessly mocking people’s obsession with dog-face selfies, she is now unapologetically one of those people.
